i decided to get this tattoo because i recently went through and still am working on getting through a battle with depression. stay gold isn’t just from the “outsiders by s.e hinton” which i love btw but a reminder that i should stay true to myself to keep me grounded, live young and shine bright no matter what life throws at me . The butterfly symbolizes that not all that is ugly stays that way and i am beautiful in my own way.
